Softball Recap: East Prairie Eagles vs. Oak Ridge Blue Jays
East Prairie was the 14-0 winner over Oak Ridge when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The East Prairie Eagles fell victim to a rough 14-3 loss at the hands of the Oak Ridge Blue Jays on Tuesday. East Prairie has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ava Bright made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBI.
East Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Oak Ridge, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
