Basketball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Colby Eagles, falling 50-19. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bluejays' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

This is the second loss in a row for Cimarron and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Colby, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Bluejays face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colby, they will head out to challenge Scott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
