After only two runs in their last contest, Manteca made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lodi on Thursday. The Buffaloes came out on top against the Flames by a score of 10-7. The win continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Flames: they've now won four in a row.

Na'Ima Calderon was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayva Wilkins, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Manteca always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lodi only posted an OBP of .342.

Manteca's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lodi, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1.

Coming up, Manteca will head out to face off against Escalon at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Buffaloes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lodi, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Franklin at 4:00 p.m.
