There are some strong baseball teams in Texas again this season as four squads are ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25. We look at the top 10 teams out of 1,219 schools ranked by their strength of schedule.

College Park (The Woodlands), 15.4
The Cavaliers (4-8) play the toughest schedule in the state. They've already fallen to top-25 schools Rockwall-Heath and Georgetown both on the road.

Montgomery, 14.8
The Bears (5-6) have some "good losses" this season, including falling to No. 2 George Ranch (Richmond) 16-8 on Feb. 28.

Marcus (Flower Mound), 14.3
The Marauders (16-10) split with rival Flower Mound last week with each team victorious by one run. Marcus also fell 10-2 to No. 1 ranked Wakeland (Frisco) on March 3.

Bell (Hurst), 13.8
The Blue Raiders (12-13) have played top 25 teams five times this season and have fared just 1-4. The team has won just three of its last 10 games.

Leander, 13.8
The Lions (4-15) are struggling at the start of the season, but for good reason. The team has dropped seven of its last eight games, three times to fourth-ranked Lake Travis (Austin).

Clear Springs (League City), 13.6
The Chargers (6-10) took on two top-10 teams in the first three days of the season, getting downed by top-ranked Wakeland, 7-5, and No. 8 Prosper, 5-1.

Flower Mound, 13.4
The Jaguars (22-10) have won five of their last seven games. The team lost a 4-1 matchup to Prospect, ranked No. 21 in the MaxPreps Top 25, in early March. Flower Mound is 2-3 in one-run games this season.

Byron Nelson (Trophy Club), 13.2
The Bobcats (16-14) have gone 1-2 against top-20 teams in the state this season. Byron Nelson fell 4-1 to Rockwall-Heath and split with Flour Mound, a 9-1 win and a 10-3 loss.

Stony Point (Round Rock), 13.1
The Tigers (12-13-1) are taking on some stiff competition this year, losing to Round Rock, 8-1 and 5-4; Hendrickson (Pflugerville), 4-0; and Lewisville, 3-1.

Sherman Grayson Christian (Sherman), 12.9
Grayson Christian (1-5) has picked up just one victory this year, downing Sachse 9-4 on Feb. 25.
