Leadership Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Bishop McGuinness proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Leadership Academy Falcons with a sharp 65-42 victory. The Villains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Leadership Academy still got an impressive performance from Caden Ryker, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. What's more, Ryker also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caleb Foster, who posted six points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Bishop McGuinness pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Leadership Academy, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2.

Bishop McGuinness has already played their next match (against Carver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Leadership Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
