Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors came up short against the Christian Heritage Sentinels on Tuesday, falling 50-30. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hanna Stephens posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Cenzie Pyeatt, who put up nine points.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Christian Heritage, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Trinity Christian Academy will take on Athens Christian Preparatory Academy in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on December 17th at. As for Christian Heritage, they will take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian Heritage's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so East Texas Homeschool Sports' offense will have their work cut out for them.
