Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Comes Up Short

Trinity Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Friendship Christian Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Trinity Classical of the 63-51 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Leading Friendship Christian to victory were Agei Aguelet and Roger Maddox. Aguelet posted 19 points, while Maddox scored 17 points. Amir Bryant was another key player, putting up ten points.

Trinity Classical's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Friendship Christian, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Trinity Classical will challenge White Creek Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. White Creek Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.9 points per game this season. As for Friendship Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-67 win against St. John Bosco Academy on the 16th.
