Baseball Recap: Sacramento Takes a Loss

Sacramento was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 21-0 to the River City Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Tuesday.

Sacramento's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14-1. As for River City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Sacramento will square off against Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River City, they will take on Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.15 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
