Baseball Game Preview: South Fulton Red Devils vs. Ballard Memorial Bombers

The South Fulton Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Ballard Memorial Bombers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Fulton has three straight wins, Ballard Memorial has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

South Fulton's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over Christian Fellowship.

Meanwhile, Ballard Memorial came up short against Union City on Thursday, falling 14-1.

Ballard Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reed Duren, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Ballard Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Fulton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

South Fulton suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Ballard Memorial when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can South Fulton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
