Basketball Recap: Mykah Collier-Fisher Key Part of a Team Effort in Lakers Win

Lake George won the last time they faced Argyle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lake George Lakers took down the Argyle Scots 34-20. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Scots are ranked 426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake George's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mykah Collier-Fisher, who posted eight points in addition to 13 boards and seven steals. Collier-Fisher is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madyson Brennan, who had 12 points along with four blocks and three steals.

Lake George's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Argyle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake George will face off against Granville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Argyle, they will challenge Waterford-Halfmoon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
