Softball Recap: Raymond Rams vs. Somersworth Toppers
Raymond barely beat Somersworth the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Toppers an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Rams have beaten the Toppers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Toppers has come to flipping the script.
Dinkenesh Levesque was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
