Basketball Recap: Skyline's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Skyline had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-49 W against the MacArthur Cardinals. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for MacArthur, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Skyline will head out to challenge Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.46 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. MacArthur and Berkner will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
