Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Franklin Wildcats.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Hatfield, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Trinity will be playing in front of their home fans against Owensboro Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Waynesville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
