Basketball Game Preview: Whitewater Wildcats vs. Fayette County Tigers

Whitewater hasn't had much luck against Fayette County recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Whitewater Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Fayette County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Whitewater will head into Tuesday's matchup out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by LaGrange and fell 64-29.

Meanwhile, Fayette County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Christian.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Fayette County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 17-5.

Whitewater was dealt a bruising 66-20 defeat at the hands of Fayette County when the teams last played last Tuesday. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Whitewater was down 51-8.
