Soccer Recap: Winslow Comes Up Short

Winslow lost against Red Rock back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Scorpions, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Winslow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Red Rock are ranked sixth).

This is the second loss in a row for Winslow and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Red Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winslow will welcome Snowflake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Rock, they will host Ash Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
