Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown vs. Clark Montessori

The Georgetown G-Men will head out to take on the Clark Montessori Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Georgetown had taken Bethel-Tate down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The G-Men took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Georgetown's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Clark Montessori was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Purcell Marian.

Georgetown's record is now 2-10-2. As for Clark Montessori, their record now sits at 5-7.

Georgetown was able to grind out a solid win over Clark Montessori in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the G-Men since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
