Baseball Recap: William Tennent Victorious

William Tennent lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lower Moreland, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Panthers never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

William Tennent got a great performance from Jackson Archibald as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Archibald has posted since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cody Devor, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Ferrara, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

William Tennent hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lower Moreland struck out eight times.

William Tennent's record now sits at 6-11. As for Lower Moreland, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

William Tennent has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Springfield Township on the 5th. As for Lower Moreland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Cheltenham on the 6th.
