Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Lutheran Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Lutheran lost against Greenwood Christian Academy on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 22-25, 25-16.

Faith King paced Indianapolis Lutheran's offense, picking up 19 kills. King got some help from Shaefer Scearce and her 37 assists. Lillian Pass controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Indianapolis Lutheran now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Indianapolis Lutheran will challenge Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they will face off against Oldenburg Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
