Baseball Game Preview: Dr. Phillips Panthers vs. Timber Creek Wolves

The Dr. Phillips Panthers will face off against the Timber Creek Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Dr. Phillips' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Timber Creek has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Dr. Phillips and Lake Brantley, and Dr. Phillips kept the tradition alive. The Panthers came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 7-3 on Wednesday.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Dr. Phillips has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Timber Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
