Softball Recap: Libby Loggers vs. Stevensville Yellowjackets
Libby took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Stevensville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Loggers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Yellowjackets on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Loggers have posted since March 28th.
Settera Mcgreevy-White was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakota Allen, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
Libby always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
