Pine won the last time they faced Lake Worth Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pine Knights claimed a resounding 43-10 victory over the Lake Worth Christian Defenders. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Emily Shirk, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Roxie Hesler, who posted four points and four steals.

Pine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.9 points per game. As for Lake Worth Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pine won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tradition Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine is facing Tradition Prep at the right time seeing as Tradition Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lake Worth Christian, they and Park Vista will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
