Soccer Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

Burroughs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pasadena Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that Burroughs have lost by just one goal.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Pasadena, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Burroughs will take on Crescenta Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescenta Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Burroughs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pasadena, they will face off against Burbank at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Burbank's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
