Softball Recap: Quincy Jackrabbits vs. Ellensburg Bulldogs
Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ellensburg Bulldogs, falling 17-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-1 on Friday.
Quincy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Stephens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ellensburg, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1.
Coming up, Quincy will square off against East Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Jackrabbits surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ellensburg, they will face off against Prosser at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
