Basketball Game Preview: Floral Park Memorial Knights vs. Seaford Vikings

The Floral Park Memorial Knights will challenge the Seaford Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Floral Park Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Seaford likes a good challenge.

Back in January, Floral Park Memorial made easy work of Valley Stream North and carried off a 58-38 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seaford had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 70-62 win over North Shore. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seaford.

Floral Park Memorial's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.7 points. As for Seaford, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
