There's no place like home for Trenton Catholic Academy, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 62-57 W over Burlington Township on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isiah N'diaye, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Aaron Ferguson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Trenton Catholic Academy's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Burlington Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trenton Catholic Academy will face off against Bordentown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Burlington Township won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northern Burlington at 5:15 p.m. on January 5th. Northern Burlington is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
