Basketball Game Recap: Westhill Warriors vs. Indian River Warriors

After soaring to 66 points the game before, the Westhill Warriors were a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were beaten by Indian River 70-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westhill has scored all season.

Indian River got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ravan Marsell out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Marsell is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bella Davis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

Westhill now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Indian River, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Westhill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Indian River will head out on the road to square off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Jefferson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
