Basketball Recap: Stuart Takes a Loss

If Stuart was feeling good fresh off their 64-25 takedown of Cimarron on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets came up short against the Caney Cougars on Tuesday, falling 49-27. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Stuart's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Caney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Stuart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-30 defeat against Turner on the 12th. As for Caney, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-30 win against Garner on the 11th.
