Otay Ranch came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Escondido Charter Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Cole McGlinchey paced Otay Ranch's offense, picking up nine kills. McGlinchey got some help from Royce Garcia and his 30 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Otay Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Escondido Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-10 record this season.

Otay Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against The Cambridge School on the 19th. As for Escondido Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Morse on the 19th.
