Basketball Recap: Easton Ledford Key Part of Team Effort in Trojans Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bandys had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took down the Burns Bulldogs 88-69.

Bandys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Ledford, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds Ledford has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Landon Vaughan, who had 19 points and seven boards.

Burns' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tye Clay, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Clay has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Putnam, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Bandys pushed their record up to 19-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8.

Bandys didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 80-62 win against Forest Hills on the 28th. Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
