Softball Recap: Macks Creek Pirates vs. Climax Springs Cougars        
        
		
             After only two  runs in their last  matchup, Macks Creek made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Climax Springs  on Monday. The Macks Creek Pirates never let the Climax Springs Cougars onto the board and left with  a   15-0  win. The  game marked the Pirates' most dominant  victory of the season.
  Brooklyn Downing made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Downing was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Adalynn Marshall was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Cami Moulder, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 The  win made it two in a row for Macks Creek and  bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Climax Springs, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Macks Creek will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Richland  at 5:00  p.m. Macks Creek is facing Richland at the right time seeing as Richland is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Climax Springs, they will head out to  take on Fair Play  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
