Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Wins Going Away Against North Ridgeville

Brunswick's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Ridgeville Rangers.

Brunswick got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 30-28.

Brunswick had a senior duo take command as Ashlie Lieb had 18 digs and five assists and Alexis Must had 11 digs and one assist. Lieb has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

When it comes to explaining why North Ridgeville lost, don't look at Amanda Earl. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and two aces.

Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for North Ridgeville, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Brunswick will take on Lorain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Ridgeville, they will square off against Avon Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
