Baseball Recap: Vergennes Comes Up Short

Vergennes was the 6-3 winner over Bellows Free Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Commodores came up short against the Bullets on Friday, falling 9-1. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vergennes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bellows Free Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Vergennes will take on Enosburg Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellows Free Academy, they will face off against Richford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
