Basketball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster lost against Littlerock back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancaster Eagles fell 59-49 to the Littlerock Lobos. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Lancaster still got an impressive performance from Keelan Benjamin, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Darius Jackson, who earned nine points.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Littlerock, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Lancaster Eagles take on the Knight Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Knight will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lancaster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Littlerock, they will challenge Palmdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Littlerock's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Palmdale has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
