Softball Recap: Milford Spartans vs. Lebanon Raiders

Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lebanon Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 6-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Teagan Goldstein was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Dutton, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Lebanon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
