Soccer Game Preview: Darien vs. Greenwich

The Darien Blue Wave will head out on the road to take on the Greenwich Cardinals at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Darien's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Darien and Ridgefield finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Greenwich hasn't lost a match since September 5th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Westhill. The win continues a trend for Greenwich in their matchups with Westhill: they've now won eight in a row.

Darien's draw gives them a new season record of 2-0-2. As for Greenwich, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-2.
