Flower Mound has gone 8-2 against Allen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Jaguars will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Flower Mound is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Flower Mound barely beat Hebron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Jaguars have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Allen and Plano East had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell 9-5 to the Panthers on Monday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Monday.

Chandler Chisum was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Flower Mound's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Allen, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17-1.

Flower Mound suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Allen in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
