Baseball Recap: Miami Beach Comes Up Short

Miami Beach and Doral Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Miami Beach had to settle for second. They lost 15-1 to the Firebirds. The Hi Tides have struggled against the Firebirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Miami Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Vasallo, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Miami Beach's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Doral Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

As of now, neither Miami Beach nor the Firebirds have any future games scheduled.
