Liberty County dropped down to 7-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 18-7 to the Beach Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Liberty County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Nykiem Ezell. Liberty County got some further help from Mekhi James: he forced one fumble and made 12 total tackles.

As for Beach, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games.

Jayvion Williams had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 97 yards and one score on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 37 yards and a pair of TDs.

Liberty County has already played their next contest, a 34-0 defeat against Calvary Day on the 31st. As for Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 48-8 loss against Southeast Bulloch on the 31st.
