Basketball Game Preview: Pepin/Alma vs. Whitehall Norse

Pepin/Alma hasn't had much luck against Whitehall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Pepin/Alma will be playing in front of their home fans against the Whitehall Norse at 7:15 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Pepin/Alma was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Blair-Taylor. Pepin/Alma has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Whitehall hadn't done well against Cochrane-Fountain City recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Whitehall managed a 67-61 victory over Cochrane-Fountain City.

Whitehall now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pepin/Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Pepin/Alma came up short against Whitehall when the teams last played back in January, falling 55-43. Can Pepin/Alma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
