Soccer Recap: Shadow Ridge Has No Trouble Against South Mountain

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mesa, Shadow Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the South Mountain Jaguars. The game marked the Stallions' most dominant win of the season so far.

Their offense was hitting South Mountain from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Nathan Johansen led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Shadow Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for South Mountain, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Shadow Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Browne on the 13th. As for South Mountain, they will be home for the holidays to greet Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
