Thatcher's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8-1. As for Empire, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1.

Thatcher will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Sabino at 6:00 p.m. As for Empire, they will challenge Andrada Polytechnic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Empire's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
