Soccer Game Preview: Royal Palm Beach vs. Santaluces

The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Santaluces Chiefs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Royal Palm Beach will be strutting in after a victory while Santaluces will be coming in after a defeat.

Royal Palm Beach proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Lake Worth 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Royal Palm Beach were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Santaluces unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palm Beach Central on Thursday.

Royal Palm Beach's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Santaluces, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Royal Palm Beach might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Santaluces in their previous meeting back in January. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 3-0.
