Hinkley is 0-3 against Denver South since October of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Thunder will host the Ravens at 6:30 p.m. Denver South took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hinkley, who comes in off a win.

Hinkley took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Alameda. The victory continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Hinkley was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Jeralyn Navarro was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight matches.

Meanwhile, Denver South entered their matchup against Northfield on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Nighthawks.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Northfield scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Hinkley's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Denver South, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
