Baseball Recap: Squalicum Find Success

Squalicum's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ferndale Golden Eagles by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Storm: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in March, they had to take a 13-4 defeat.

Squalicum's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Ferndale, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Squalicum will face off against Lynden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Storm surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ferndale, they will square off against Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
