Volleyball Recap: Newark Memorial Takes a Loss

Newark Memorial saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fremont Firebirds.

Newark Memorial has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Fremont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Newark Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westmoor on the 12th. As for Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Balboa on the 12th.
