Basketball Recap: Gore Comes Up Short

Gore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Central Tigers, falling 51-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pirates have suffered since February 3, 2024.

Gore's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Gore will take on Webbers Falls at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Central, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Warner at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
