Arroyo Valley waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Pacific Pirates with a sharp 5-1 victory. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Arroyo Valley pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Pacific, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4-2.

Arroyo Valley will take on Cajon in a tournament on December 27th. As for Pacific, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Miller at 3:45 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
