Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Cadence Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Pinecrest Academy Cadence unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the CIVICA NV Wolves 67-24 on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Despite the defeat, Pinecrest Academy Cadence saw an underclassman step up: freshman Caleb Tom posted seven points.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence has already played their next matchup, a 52-31 loss against Eldorado on the 3rd. As for CIVICA NV, they will face off against Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
