Basketball Recap: Eden Valley-Watkins Comes Up Short

Eden Valley-Watkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 57-46 to the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Eden Valley-Watkins' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12.

Eden Valley-Watkins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 82-62 loss against Montevideo on the 11th. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-62 defeat against Central Minnesota Christian on the 11th.
