Edinburgh is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since December 7, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Brown County 45-42. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Tri came up short against Hagerstown on Tuesday and fell 60-48.

Edinburgh's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Tri, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Everything went Edinburgh's way against Tri in their previous meeting back in January, as Edinburgh made off with a 67-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edinburgh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
